Are you prepared for Hermine?

In preparation for Hurricane Hermine, we’d like to pass on the following safety tips and storm preparation tips to our members.
At NEC, we strive to be proactive instead of reactive in preparation for storms that we know about ahead of time. Power outages are inevitable during major storms
and being prepared will help keep you and your family safe. During an outage our crews work to restore power to the greatest number of people first.
After transmission and distribution lines are fixed, crews then repair downed lines in smaller neighborhoods and at individual homes.

What members can do to prepare ahead Plan ahead when a storm is coming and be prepared. At minimum, every household should have an
emergency kit for outages during a significant weather event.
