UNCLAIMED CAPITAL CREDITS Newberry Electric Cooperative, Inc. has unclaimed capital credits for the following persons.

As required by state statute, Newberry Electric Cooperative is required to annually publish a list that identifies the names and addresses of former members whose last known address was in South Carolina with
unclaimed capital credits of $50 or more. If you are a former member and your name appears on the list below, please contact the cooperative.

FEMA info - please apply

FEMA has asked us to help get the word out to our members due to the misconceptions about eligibility. FEMA is encouraging anyone who had any type of damage to please apply for funding.
There are a lot of people who think they don’t qualify, but that’s not the case. Please view the attachment and call the number listed.

Website Downtime

2015 Operation Round Up Golf Tournament September 14th

All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Operation Round Up Program and the NEC WIRE (Women Involved in Rural Electrification) Chapter’s Community Care Fund. The Operation Round Up Program is where members can allow the co-op to round their bills up to the next even dollar amount. The cents collected goes to help those within the community with their power bill and other necessities. The NEC WIRE Chapter’s mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals, families and organizations in the community by providing financial or specific assistance to those with critical needs.
