NEC Holds an annual meeting for the purpose of electing an NEC Board of Directors to oversee the operations of the cooperative.
As a member of the cooperative, you have a voice in how the cooperative is run. Our governing body, the Board of Directors, is composed of members who are elected by the membership.
The annual meeting is held at Mid-Carolina High School during the week of spring break each year. All members are encouraged to attend the meeting, vote on those running for Board seats, and have their voices heard.
The President and CEO Mr. G. Keith Avery makes himself available for an hour-long town hall meeting, giving members a platform to voice their questions or concerns.
