If outages occur, our crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. Please keep in mind that restoration can be challenging and may take longer due to extreme weather conditions.

Washington Youth Tour & Cooperative Youth Summit

Are you a high school junior with an interest in politics and government? Or perhaps a sophomore with a focus on state-level governance and emerging technology? Newberry Electric Cooperative is offering two opportunities for 2026: the Washington Youth Tour from June 14-19 and the Cooperative Youth Summit from July 13-16.

Interested students will need to submit an application and participate in a personal interview as part of the selection process. Students must live in a household served by NEC.
