SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
April 29, 2019
A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Newberry Electric Cooperative, Inc. was held at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave., N.W., Washington, DC on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 12:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Johnnie L. Dickert with the determination of a quorum present. Chairman Dickert presided throughout the meeting.
President and CEO G. Keith Avery reported that the following Board Members were present:
Leon Fulmer Douglas Hipp John Wayne Nichols
Melanie Hawkins William B. Lominick, Sr. Johnnie L. Dickert
Trustees C.J. Bishop, Blake Brigman, Craig Kesler, and Cooperative Attorney Thomas H. Pope, III were not in attendance.
The purpose of the meeting was to approve a resolution assigning Chief Financial Officer Arthur Guy, the Representative-Signature-Certify security role as a user in USDA’s ReConnect Program Online Application System.
The resolution also assigns President and CEO Keith Avery and GIS/System Analyst Stephanie Sullivan as Administrators, who shall be responsible for entering/updating an application and assigning access to new users in USDA’s ReConnect Program Online Application System.
A motion was made to approve the individuals to accept assignments as stated. The motion was seconded and passed without opposition.
There being no further business and without objections, Chairman Johnnie L. Dickert adjourned the April Special Board Meeting at 12:45 pm.
