Have sensitive documents to shred? Join us for America Recycles Day as we partner with the Newberry Soil and Water Conservation District and Keep Newberry County Beautiful to host a free community shred event.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 882 Wilson Road in Newberry, SC. Community members are invited to bring up to five boxes of personal documents for secure, on-site shredding. There's no need to remove staples, paper clips, or binders—just bring your documents and we'll handle the rest.
While the shredding service is completely free, we encourage attendees to consider bringing non-perishable food items to support the Feed Thy Neighbor Kitchen. It's a great opportunity to protect your privacy, reduce waste, and give back to those in need—all in one visit.
