NEC W.I.R.E. Chapter's 4th Annual Classic Car & Antique Tractor Cruise-In
"PLUGGED IN" TO THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY.
NEC'S WIRE Chapter is hosting a community Classic Car and Antique Tractor Cruise-In Fundraiser to be held in the Piedmont Technical College Parking Lot at 1922 Wilson Road in Newberry on Saturday, June 21st from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This is a fundraiser for projects throughout the year.
We are asking for sponsors and vendors for the event.
We would love to have your support and we will make sure your business gets a lot of recognition/PR, both in our advertising and social media, along with announcements of sponsors and vendors throughout the event.
Our WIRE Chapter, Women Involved in Rural Electrification, does a lot of community projects and reaches out to those less fortunate. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of others. We are the light at the end of the tunnel for that widow deciding whether to pay the power bill or buy groceries because she can't afford both. We're here to help the single mom struggling to take care of the kids and pay all the bills.
Since November of 2011, our chapter has donated goods and/or made monetary donations to many local businesses, such as Manna House, Hospice, The Free Clinic, The Boys Farm, MADD, Sistercare, JF Hawkins Nursing Home, White Oak Manor, Springfield Place, Lighthouse for Life, Sadie's Hope, The Freedom and Hope Foundation, The Council on Aging, Women on a Mission, We Care, The Living Hope Foundation, sent care packages to soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, donated over 100 teddy bears to local emergency personnel to comfort kids during emergency situations, as well as assisting with wrapping and delivering gifts for adopted kids and families over the Christmas holidays.
We would appreciate anything at all you and/or your organization could do to help us out. Checks can be made payable to NEC WIRE Chapter and payment is due by June 18, 2025.
