Newberry Electric Cooperative celebrated  Administrative Supervisor Linda Lever's retirement after 30 years of dedicated service.

Staff members gathered for a surf and turf lunch and a slide show featuring photos from Lever's three decades with the cooperative. Lever joined the NEC team on Aug. 22, 1994, and remarked that it was fitting to end her career on Aug. 22, 2024, exactly 30 years later.

"I feel very, very special," Lever said. "I will miss my colleagues and the members I have fallen in love with. It really brings me to tears."
